What is a DIY lawn care program?
A DIY lawn care program is a season-long plan you apply yourself instead of hiring a service — the right products, in the right order, at the right time of year. Southland Organics Natural Lawn Bundles are an all-in-one version: four natural products packaged together with a month-by-month schedule, sized to your turf zone and lawn size. You apply one product per month with a hose end sprayer, about fifteen minutes each time.
Is an all-in-one lawn care kit better than buying products separately?
For most homeowners, yes — because the hard part is not the application, it is knowing which product to use and when. An all-in-one bundle removes both decisions: it contains a full season of product in the correct quantities and tells you which month to apply each one. Buying separately works if you already know your program; if you are guessing, a bundle is cheaper than buying the wrong thing twice.
How many steps are in the Southland lawn program?
Four products across three seasons. Genesis conditions the soil in spring, FertALive and Omega feed and activate through summer, and Revival dethatches in fall. Depending on your turf zone that lands as five or six monthly applications between March and September — one product per month, using the whole bottle each time.
Do you offer a lawn care subscription?
The Natural Lawn Bundle is a one-time purchase covering a full growing season, not a recurring subscription. You buy the bundle once, apply it monthly through the season, and reorder the following spring. There is no auto-ship to cancel and no contract.
How do I know which turf zone I am in?
Your zone follows your climate, not your state line. Cool-season grasses (fescue, bluegrass, ryegrass) run through the northern states. Warm-season grasses (bermuda, zoysia, centipede, St. Augustine) run through the deep south. The transition zone in between is where both types struggle. The finder above lists the states in each band — pick the one your state appears in, and if you sit on a border, go by the grass type you actually have.
What if my lawn size is between two options?
Round up. The bundle sizing sets how much product you receive, and running short mid-season is worse than having a little left over. Small covers up to about 5,000 square feet, medium 5,000–10,000, and large anything above that.
Do I have to apply all four products?
Yes — that is the point of the bundle. Genesis conditions the soil in spring, FertALive and Omega feed and activate through summer, and Revival dethatches in fall. Each one does a different job at a different point in the season. Applying only one gets you a fraction of the result.
Is this safe around kids and pets?
Yes. Every product in the bundle is made from naturally derived ingredients with no synthetic chemicals and no warning label telling you to keep anyone off the grass. Your family and your dog can be back on the lawn as soon as you are done spraying.
What if I already have a sprayer?
Bundles 3, 6 and 9 ship in gallon containers for use with your own hose-end sprayer. The rest come with sprayer quarts that dilute automatically. Full dilution instructions for both are on the instructions page.
